Large-format panel projects cannot be judged from one sample alone. Overall flatness, continuous joints, curvature transitions, internal and external corners and on-site interfaces must be reviewed together.

Flat Curtain-Wall Honeycomb Panels

For large-format façades, eaves and walls. Confirm panel divisions, overall thickness, rear details and weather-resistant finish.

Interior Wall and Ceiling Panels

For halls, corridors, ceilings and cladding surfaces. Coordinate lights, air outlets, access requirements and edge finishing.

Curved and Cladding Components

Produced by radius, arc length, segmentation and interfaces for curved ceilings, façade corners and column cladding.

Perforated Honeycomb Panels

Perforations and patterns are formed in a composite construction. Confirm open-area ratio, edge distance, core treatment and rear functions together.

Wood-Grain and Metallic-Finish Panels

Confirm pattern, base color, grain direction, cross-panel layout and finish consistency within the same batch.

Stone-Faced Composite Panels

An aluminum honeycomb panel cannot be specified by “overall thickness” alone. The combination of face sheet, adhesive layers, core, back sheet and edge interfaces directly affects fabrication, installation and acceptance.

FABRICATION PROCESS

From face-sheet processing through composite curing, panel IDs and construction versions remain consistent

Showing only spray coating cannot explain how honeycomb panels are made. The process below covers face-sheet processing, core preparation, bonding, edge treatment and on-site alignment.

Drawing and Construction Approval

Confirm panel IDs, layers, overall thickness, finish direction, edges and installation details.

Face and Back Sheet Cutting

Cut to size and process holes and shaped profiles according to flat patterns and nesting layouts.

Returns and Local Forming

Complete grooving, returns, curves or non-standard edge pre-forming.

Core Expansion and Positioning

Check honeycomb-core direction, expanded condition, splicing and edge allowance.

Cleaning, Adhesive Application and Lay-Up

Combine face sheet, adhesive layers, core and back sheet in the approved sequence while keeping them clean.

Pressing, Pressure Holding and Curing

Complete bonding under the specified process conditions; the presence of equipment alone does not demonstrate qualified quality.

Trimming, Grooving and Details

Complete final trimming, grooves, edge closure, reinforcement and connection interfaces.

First Article, Numbering and Packing

Check dimensions, flatness, thickness, edges, appearance and panel IDs before grouped protection.

DETAIL DEVELOPMENT

Ease of installing large panels depends on the edges, not only the panel face

Production drawings should define the profile, panel divisions, edge construction and on-site connection together, avoiding temporary grooving, hole modification or reinforcement after the finished panels arrive.
